 Focusing on the Positive
Rather than Obsessing about the Negative

"The more man meditates upon good thoughts,
the better will be his world and the world at large."

       -- Confucius

If we look hard enough at any situation or circumstance, we can find something negative to focus our thoughts and energies on.  We've all been around people who are perpetually negative and would probably agree that they're not much fun to be around.  It seems that if they can't find something to be upset about, they'll even resort to manufacturing something.

In extreme cases, people make a choice to thrive on criticism, bitterness, anger, and conspiracy theories in an attempt to justify that they're not paranoid, but that people or circumstances are really out to get them.  But all of us - at some time or another - can easily get caught up in negative, non-productive thoughts and attitudes.

For the life of me, I can't understand why so much time and energy is wasted on the negatives.

A large part of my positive attitude (and my approach with clients) has its roots in the Silva Mind Development Seminars.  One of the central Silva concepts revolves around controlling, minimizing, and eventually eliminating our negative thoughts.  Students quickly learn how to stop negative thoughts as they begin to creep into their consciousness.

Unchecked, negative thoughts can easily grow and expand to the point where they occupy a tremendous amount of our waking hours.  But when we're willing to stop feeding our worries, fears, and insecurities -- choosing to focus on solutions rather than problems -- we've already made a major step toward success.

No, I'm not suggesting a rose-colored-glasses approach to life.  But rather than obsessing about life's challenges, it's must more rational, less frustrating, and more rewarding to conceive and implement a plan of action.

If you need help formulating a strategy to set, pursue, and attain your goals, a qualified astrologer can help you develop and work with the specific timing of your plan.  By assisting you as you objectively evaluate your goals and options you can begin implementation of a time-line for pursuing your potential.

Aren't you ready to stop spinning your wheels and map out the path to your destination?

"Through meditation and by giving full attention to one thing at time, we can learn to direct attention where we choose."
